I bought a NIB S&W M&P357 with night sights for $350 off of gunbroker.com, sure that is worth a pair of new HP easy, but considering the price I got it at, it was practically a steal.

I've seen a few reliable HP and a few lemons that got "fixed" after a few trips back to the factory on the lifetime warranty. I've seen various professional reviews, not all of them were positive.

I hope the OP has a good one, otherwise I'd get out on an off ramp along I5 with a cardboard sign saying, "I need money for a reputable defensive firearm because I have a High Point." If I saw you, I'd hand you $5, I'm sure other people would to and it might not take long to get to $400. I'd even set up a Pay Pal account for donations on line.

LOL if that was the case, I'd do that even if my gun is still working... always wanted a collection set up for a Taurus Judge...

I have never owned a hi point I always use to make fun of them but over the last few years I have been able to shoot a few and I am starting to change my mind . I have been eye balling the hi point 4095 there is just something about the sound of a 40 S&W carbine that makes me feel like I need one
