I need a good idea of places to take some buddies. These inside ranges are no longer cutting it. Thanks everyone!

We are now running on a new, and hopefully much-improved, server. In addition we are also on new forum software. Any move entails a lot of technical details and I suspect we will encounter a few issues as the new server goes live. Please be patient with us. Places to shoot in the desert (WEST VALLEY)

There's always Ben Avery ,...
I'm up in the N. foothills so I don't make it over to the west valley often . You could always contact the BLM & ask them for areas near you open to shooting for the public. Be advised that at times here in AZ there may be no shooting due to fire restrictions imposed by State and or Federal authorities.
If possible ask for GPS coordinates, this should keep you from straying onto forbidden or private property by accident.
I know on the East side Tonto National forest has some areas and in the north Table Mesa & Black Canyon (may be) open to shooting.
Arizona gun owners.com has some places listed that only established members can see across the state.
They do this to keep every **** & their cousin from simply trashing the few ranges left free to use from being shutdown, like others in the past. If you do find one, please haul out all your trash.
For some reason people think its OK to shoot old TV's, washer machines, refrigerators, etc .. to Swiss cheese then leave the mess behind ....

Ask that lot for permission after everything they've done. *growls* I hope y'all are better at swallowing your wrath than I would or Bundy Ranch would happen once a month at least.

He is asking for specifics IE location coordinates. In Arizona, BLM, state managed lands, Reservation lands, preserved lands & private lands are often very closely bounded by each other. It is often easy to accidentally stray off course.
Is the BLM a group of well meaning civil servants or a bunch of jackbooted thugs is not the issue here, as i suspect you know.
Should the OP run into issues, it will be much harder to convict him if he has asked and received definition of property boundaries by those chartered to manage them.

Thank you for that information. I will do a bit more research before embarking off behind the White Tanks and just start shooting. I actually went up north to Pinetop-Lakeside and found a range called the "Cinder Pits". A lot of locals were up there having a good time so I decided to join in. I brought up a couple old tvs to shoot, and rightfully packed them back up after I was done.
