Chanced to meet this 'lady' I had been advised about at a rural gas station. I had just taken a .45 1911 in to a smith to be fixed and I had NO ammo or mag.

Yes. Asked for a ride homeLovin' all over me and I'm thinking "MY TURN!" HehHeh HooBoy! MY lucky day.....NOT.

Pulled into her drive down a long country lane to the house. My imagination and testerone levels had no limit. I was in heaven......until three crazy looking punks appeared and ordered her and meoutta my truck. She got out and they surrounded my truck.

Crap. Crap. All I could was hold the totally impotent, empty .45 up and wave it around. They stopped. I BACKED out of the area still waving the useless.45 auto.

Never again will my weapon become useless. Some time later, there was murders and kidnapings on the Rolling Fork River.......close to that area. Nelson County Kentucky. I think they were involved.

This story sounds like it would make a great country song!

Got inmy truck to visit the Clyde the gunsmith.

My friend Chesty, my trustyColt needed fixin,

Clyde done good andChesty wasready for actionaction

But my mind was on other things, and Chesty stayed empty

Chorus:

Always tap the mag, then rack the rail

make sure you're loaded before you hit the trail

Don't ever travel with an empty 1911

Bad people are out there and you you're not ready for heaven.......

Those three punks probably did you a favor by preventing you from catching something you could treasure to your dying day.

There's things worse than getting shot.

I'm hardly a puritan, but I'm just sayin'....

OK Thundar, I HATE country music but I have to tell ya, I'd definitely buy this one! :) Just come up with a few more lyrics and you've got a hit there! *S*

Or you could make it rock, just set it to music like Metallica's "Whiskey in the Jar"> LOL
