I'm actually really impressed by that article. He presented it very well and was quite objective.

I wasn't all that impressed with it. I do admire his objectivity. however, reading the article gave me the impression that it's illegal to take a gun out of it's holster unless my life is threatened, and that all guns have loaded chamber indicators, and that it's illegal to OC into "banks, churches, courts, theaters, sports arenas, day care centers, hospitals, bars."

I agree with your points, but the guy gave me the impression that he was so leftist that the article would be horribly skewed, so I was impressed by the article.

I wanted to say that it was nice to see more ladies at the picnic this weekend! I didn't get to mingle as much as I would have liked to & I missed some people before they left. Were there any other women there OCing?? :uhoh:

As ruger45 & I were leaving, with an escort from THWay to our truck, a man walked past us, saw my gun & said, "WHOA!". He continued on past the pavillion & was looking at the police as if you say, "you're letting these people carry guns?". It would have been if we could have gotten some literature in his hands.

I was very disappointed that I was not aware of this event until Sunday night... I would have been there for sure.

Do I need to check back regularly or is there an email blast that goes out for new events? I live in Ann Arbor.
