Is there a bank that actually has a written policy that says it just follows state law? I'm getting tire of my bank, not because of an open carry issue. If I am going to change banks, I would rather switch to a bank that respects our 2nd Amendment.
Hey Amz,
I think what your getting here is that no one has pursued the question to a written response. This may be something that you do directly when you interview your next bank. You'll go in and ask for a "New Accounts" Rep., and after they pitch you on why your going to love their service, and products, you can ask that question directly. It will be interesting to see what they say....or produce.
It seems to me that there has been this discussion before with regards to banks and in particular, WellsFargo.... and that they take the Starbucks line...what ever the state says, but I am not able to find the discussion.
Personally, I bank at BOA, BECU, WellsFargo and Chase.....I OC in all of them, in different branches, in different towns and have never had an issue except once in Tacoma, Safeway branch where the BOA manager came out to me in line, and asked me to CC...because he
thought they had a policy against it and was concerned about customer's being nerved out.....I told him that he was incorrect, and the WF corporate policy was to follow state law.....he said, "Oh, well OK" and then stood by me in line chatting and escorted me up to the tellers window for my transaction. We've become minor friends now when I go there, he doesn't concern himself.
I have heard that Chase and BOA is negative, but I've not had an issue and have actually had tellers comment and thank me in both BOA and WellsFargo. So, that's my story and I'm sticking to it...
