Can You Correctly Determine Whether the Cop has RAS?

Those are all workable ideas, fellas.

Just to re-orient any readers who've made it this far, the OP is intended to overcome dangerous advice to walk away from a detention if you think the cop has no RAS.

(That was not intended as a criticism of thread-drift. The points being discussed are the natural points to discuss if you are not going to unilaterally walk away from a detention without the cop's approval.)

If anyone has more reasons not to walk away from a detention, great. Although, I was pretty comprehensive in the OP, so I can't imagine there is much that can be added. But, if you got something, heave it in.

If in a situation where I believe I am being unlawfully harassed I won't answer any questions but I will be asking as many as I can think of and being a general PITA to get the LEO to step in the deep dodo.

The whole point of the OP is that a fella can almost never know for sure whether he is being being unlawfully harrassed. That is to say, he can almost never know for sure whether the detention is lawful or unlawful.
