Been there a handful of times as a guest and noted that they take pride in their safety rules.
Seen examples of enthusiasts from a dad showing his daughter some pistol instruction to amazement at a man who needed four trips to his pick-em-up truck before he got all his handguns,shotguns, rifles and ammo laid out on the bench.
Looks like it might be a while before the Albemarle/Cville PD's find their own shooting range. The 2-year process to make over the old Keene landfill has run into a buzzsaw of organized local opposition.
