I drop my little one off at daycare most days...I download and lock my piece in the car.

My question: As I read it, daycares do not meet the definition of K-12 school and are therefore not off limits right? Unless posted of course.

Correct, not K-12, still private property.

Caution: many church and other daycares DO include a Kindergarten; since public school kindergarten is not mandatory in VA, many daycares offer one as an alternative. The "grounds" of such a "school" can be hard to determine. So, check to see if there is a K in the Daycare, before carrying there.

Pre-K is not mandatory in VA but Kindergarten is. Some churches have K-5 which makes them off limits.
