Being suspect based on your race is no reason to fear justice. If you would decide not to carry because you are a minority, then you have acceded to the status quo and invalidated your own sovereignty.
You have voluntarily become a slave to someone else's opinion of you.
It's not something I would do. I consider myself a minority... though I am a white male. I am a staunch Southerner, a Confederate and a vocal separatist. I love America, but I hate the government. Since there is no way to have one without the other, the only option is to either eliminate the government (treason) or secede and claim independence.
Almost every instance of such has led to bloody warfare throughout all of history. I pray it may be different this time, but I doubt it will.
The corruptness of the criminal syndicate pulling strings in Washington is complete. Every utterance and every action speaks to an agenda of tyranny and here we argue over the semantics of race-versus-rights... of which the law recognizes none.
I agree that the law, as exercised, favors certain groups over others. The law, as written, does not. That is just one of many philosophical problems we face in this country.
