Ok guys, I'm a bit confused. I've read the origianl bill, as well as the viers amendment. I don't see where it openly allows OC. Could someone pleasr point it out to me? This would be too great if it is true.
Ah! Thanks. Very clear now.

OC in SC? Our government leaders? No, you have to cross into, Ga, NC, Tn, Va to exercise your rights on that matter.
Yeah, that's the problem that legislation like this bill seeks to resolve.
H3292 has been gutted and killed, correct?
I would contend that there is no "right" to bear arms anywhere in the country, as a "right" cannot be restricted and yet it is...everywhere.There is no right to open carry in TN or GA. It is a privilege extended to those whom have obtained the government's permission.
Unfortunately, as pointed out by others elsewhere, this would still only apply to SC residents. I have CCW permits from 2 states, but still can't carry OC or otherwise in SC. This is a bummer because I have family there and we visit every once in a while. I'm just trying to figure out how a southern state got to be so draconian with their firearms laws.
