I have had concealed carry permit for Alabama for roughly 30 years and today is the first time I've run across this site. I thought Alabama prohibited open carry! Joined the site immediately, signed the petition, and am composing a letter to Blake Dorning, the Madison County Sheriff.

Thanks! I've learned a lot already. I have long said that the most polite people in the world are the people you meet in gun shops and Harley-Davidson dealerships. I think that open carry has the potential to transform America for the better.
