Just brought this bill to the attention of Don Phillips (since he is the only Represenative/Senator to respond to me) and asked him to oppose it on 2nd Amendment reasons.

May not be the best answer! The way to go is to amend it to the standards of the senate bill!
We want 'PRE-EMPTION".
THE BILL CAN BE AMENDED.
It's a game of wording, might get the job done in the house and the two can come to agreement in committee.
To just say "oppose" he may simply think you do not favor 2A legislation.

I don't think there is any reason to be against this bill. If Sen680 doesn't make it to a vote and this one does then at least OC gains something.
