Why would anyone need to carry a loaded gun at Wal-Mart (or in this case, in the parking lot after cashing a check)?

(Citizen-shooter had knife held to his throat, handed over wallet, shot thief.)

Why would anyone need to carry a loaded gun in a fast food place?

(Robber not only got the register drawer, but forced clerk to open the safe.)

Why would anyone need to carry a loaded gun in the home?

(Opened door to find MWAG pointing it at him.)
((Good reason to check who's at the door!))

"These incidents have resulted in an unacceptable level of crime, fear and disorder in the affected neighborhoods," Flynn said.
Gee, I wonder what Chief Flynn would consider "an ACCEPTABLE level of crime, fear, and disorder"? :banghead: If I were living there, the correct... no, the only answer would be a level of ZERO crime, fear, and disorder....

Open Season: Fairhaven's MacKenzie Martin on target for more stardom

Okay, okay we get it, how about a little good news involving a gun.

NRA Competitive Shooting Division logo MacKenzie Martin, a 14-year-old from Fairhaven and U.S. Olympic Shooting Team hopeful, is shooting her way to fame and stardom as she continues to set shooting records in national smallbore and air rifle competition. A student at Hastings Middle School, she's only been shooting for five years and is already ranked ninth overall in women's smallbore rifle in the United States, which includes women of any age and also members of the U.S. Olympic Shooting Team. And she's ranked 19th in the nation in women's air rifle competition.

And note that she is from Massachusetts not Montana. Arizona or Texas.
