...since I don't have a choice in the entire state of New Jersey or New York when me and my g/f are home for the holidays, this next week will be hard. A legal < 3" knife is a poor substitute for a gun when you're walking the streets of Newark (going to go visit my old Fraternity brothers right in the thick of it).
I don't feel unsafe, just a lot less safe. I've carried a knife and in my head martial arts training since high school, so it's not like I'm without my blankie, but whenever I go up something always feels missing.
