Thanks.. waitng on my UTAH permit in the mail. You need to have a WA CPL or one with a reciprocal agreement with WA to carry loaded in a vehicle. Otherwise stay out of bars, secure buildings and schools and you'll be fine.
Is a bar and a restaurant that serves wine, beer and mixed drinks the same as a bar? (Sorry.. coming from VA).Otherwise stay out of bars.
Washington law only probits carrying your firearm in that portion of the premisis declared off limits to persons under the age of 21 by the WSLCB.sv_libertarian wrote:Is a bar and a restaurant that serves wine, beer and mixed drinks the same as a bar? To clarify that statement, the sign will say "NO MINORS" in big black letters at the entrance to the over-21 area of the establishment. It will have a WA Liquor Control Board symbol and wording at the bottom, as below:As long as the restaurant has a separate area for the bar. The area should have a sign that says no one under 21. As long as you are not in the bar area your good to go.
It has happened on the wet side too. Like you say, report it to the Enforcement Division of the State Liquor Board and they will fix the problem for you.Just as an aside to the bar vs restaurant issue, some restaurants that serve drinks in the dining room but who have a separate bar or lounge area have been posting the entire restaurant as off limits. This is wrong. The Liquor Control Board agrees and will correct it if made aware. I've mostly heard of it on the dry side of the mountains but it could crop up anywhere, I suppose. File this under "just so you know".

That's interesting as when you rent the room it becomes your abode and you get to have a weapon. My policy with hotels and casinos is conceal while in the building and ignore their BS while in the room and out and about..I guess its a good thing I did not bring my firearm as my hotel (and casnio) said I would not be able to bring it into my room and is posted at the entrance. I asked... isn't that JUST the casnio and they said it is the whole property.
Was there this sping at the wife's Fire Commissomers convention and like I said we concealed in the public areas (we don't do Indian casinos), Guns on tables in the room and OCed when away from the hotel.Doesn't matter THIS trip anyway.. but this is the place:
