Theres an idea that should be used at the bars.

IMO, there should be some law or code, that prohibits a bar from having a parking lot open to the public within a mile of the place. That would cut down on the number of DUI, and at least give the person a chance to sober up a little before they make it to the car.

I don't think that's a good idea, you'd have pedestrians walking down the center of the road who may be hit by a passing motorist.

Rethink what you are saying. Punish an activity, where no harm is caused to another? Replace 1 beer with one gun.
