My take is we do not have near enough background information on this to make a reasonable decision whether this is a tyrannical state agency that won't leave good people alone or if the incident was... and I hate to use the word "justified."

I see it the same way. We have only a little information but lots of opinions. It would appear that the main thrust now is to just argue for the sake of arguing. When ALL the facts are finally made public will anyone notice?
