I cannot exspress my appreciation enough. I come from a military family. My father was USN, that's how we came to be in Virginia Beach, VA. My brother is currently in the US Army, going on 20 years.

He just got back from Iraq aftera year+. Everytime I try to tell him how proud I am of him, he says "It's a job".

To everyone who serves or has served.. you have my utmost respect and appreciation.

I could not agree with you more. Every boomer-sailor I have ever known has felt the same way. (The Michigan is an SSGN now.)

I served between Desert Storm, and the current war. My husband is still in the navy, and has served both Desert Storm, and the current war, also heading back again in a couple months.

I thank all military members for what they have done, and continue to do for this country. I also really appreciate this thread. Thank you very much.
