Also, in the South, we have a word, which is phonetically pronounced "anem" ... a contraction for "and them". It is widely understood to mean one or more persons.
Example: "Bye, Honey. I'm meetin' Jim Bob anem at the Bass Pro Shop." This is proper, even if no one other than Jim Bob will be there.
I think you were looking for "y'all." A contraction of "you all" that for some unspeakable reason has not been officially accepted into the modern lexicon despite more recent and trivial entrants like "Googled" and "sexting." Sometimes used in place of someone's name, or more often, the nomenclature of a narrow sub-group. Not to me confused with "all y'all," which refers to an the total population of the addressed group.
