My most recent firearm is a Walther PPS in .40. It is available in 9mm but both pistols are identical in size.
I believe it might be the smallest .40 made; It is certainly the thinnest. It is great for CC but also good for OC as it is less noticeable and you really do forget that you are carrying it, as it is very light. Some sacrifice in rounds: in .40, you have a choice of 5, 6, or 7 round magazines. You gain one round in 9mm.
The safety is very unusual in that it is part of the trigger guard. Once I got used to it, it makes sense where they put it.
Do any of you have this pistol? If so, or even not, what are your thoughts regarding it? It is my first Walther.
