There is a cafe here in Fredericksburg, VA, owned by a conservative Christian family. Said cafe serves chai latte.
Maybe as long as they don't sell crunchy granola, too, they can escape OC for ME's wrath?

Come on now, let's calm down--I know, coming from me, right
You are correct, 'they' couldn't do that without the force of the Government. Who would kill?---let's not go off the deep end here.
You can only grow food if you have the space to grow the food...most poor people live in the city, in apartment buildings.
Agreed, subsidies ought not exists. I'm not ever getting at anything...don't ever be looking for that in any of my posts.
That did not cross my mind. I don't eat granola of any variation, just as I don't wear Birkenstocks.Maybe as long as they don't sell crunchy granola, too, they can escape OC for ME's wrath?

Now I really want to see your reaction, walking into a coffee shop filled with chai-latte sipping, Birkenstocks-wearing, granola-heating hippysters.
chai latte.
Does anyone think he wouldn't be leading a charge for gun control if he had won the last election?
eye95 doesn't.
Had the Republicans won the election, there would have been lip service given to gun-control, but no serious consideration would have been given to any of it.
If one chooses to deny this obvious reality (because it runs counter to their beliefs that there is no difference between the two parties), ain't no one gonna be able to change their minds.
I only post this because most people, who have not already made up their minds on this, will read this and say, "Yeah there is a difference between the parties, and this is one area where that difference will manifest itself obviously."
Moving on.
If they were truly for liberty, then there wouldn't even be lip service given to such a flawed premise.
You have more faith in them then I do, I don't think they are the same, but they have way too much in common for me to support them as a party.
When was the last time the republicans really tried to shrink the govt?
The best they can do is budgets that shrink the rate of growth, while growth continues.
There are a few who try(Paul. Cruz, Lee and some others) but they are still outnumbered.
I was merely responding to someone trying to present my idea. Folks do that a LOT around here, rather that letting people speak for themselves.
