I'd rather have a person NOT carry, than carry in a manner which endangers others.

.

So, you want all the cops and military disarmed eh? It is impossible to carry without a certain amount of risk...it is also impossible to go unarmed without a certain amount of risk. If you wish to go about your dayly life disarmed, that is fine with me, that will be your problem. Just don't try to tell everyone else how they should or should not carry. I would assume you don't agree with shooting a home invader either eh?

I think the gal should have had her pistol loaded and ready. but that is my idea of how it should be done. I am happy she had something with her to use to protect herself and her child with.

If you think she did wrong maybe you should read through RCW 9A.44...ya, read them all and see how many fit the circumstances. Then check how many of those are felonies...then read RCW 9.41.270(1) and look carefully at what is allowed when there is a felony in your presence is available. The guy was lucky she did not shoot him.

On Rights and Responsibility

Rights don't come with a set of codes and rules that we must follow.

We are all responsible for our actions.

In this scenario the perv's actions caused someone to react to his actions it had nothing to do with the right to bear arms, lets not fall into the fallacy arguing the anti's provide us with. In my opinion we can disagree if the woman's reaction was over the top or not though, I personally think she could have used a better choice of words, but she ended a crime upon her, Kudos to her.
