I will be going and taking carpoolers from the eastside if there is a need. I haveone already but have room for at least two more, three if they don't mind being buddy-buddy. You should know that I smoke heavily though.
I need a ride if you have room.

Why is this on a weekday? I would like to come but that makes it a lot harder.

The houses are in session on T-W-TH so Tuesday was picked so they would be around for people to visit after the rally. Also the media is more likely to attend during the week.

the government offices are open.

and the one in DC is the following weekend.

The D.C. March is on a Monday the 19th.

And there will be no marching unless it's around the grounds. This is more of a rally to show support of our gun rights. More info on times and speakers here. http://secondamendmentmarch.com/michigan

We will also have HIGH CLASS TRUCKERS playing family friendly music before and after the speakers.

I hope to have a few tents up with Michigan gun rights organizations on hand as well.

I have started a thread on the SAM forum Michigan page for car pooling to both DC or Lansing. http://secondamendmentforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=460

You can coordinate on that forum or this forum in regasrds to car pooling.
Thanks for pointing that out. If I still have seats a week before, I will open them up to those outside of the OC fold.

Sounds like there will be a big group there! So will there be an area the MOC Inc will be gathering? Or will there be a banner displayed so "we"(members) will know where to find the rest of the group??
