Well, since this shindig is in my neigborhood and I'm off you can count me in.

Would anyone be interested in a webber gas grill? Since I live on the other side of the park it would't be too difficult to bring it over. We could load it in my pickup, orI could put it on the trailer. Let me know.



My garden is full of tomatoes. I should have a few ripe ones by the 1st.

I didn't notice earlier that peter posted bring potato salad so we will do the macaroni. May even put little shrimps in it..

Apparently you have to get extra grills approved in advance, not sure why but it's in the paper they sent me. They even furnish up to 2 extras if you give them 2 weeks notice.

I think I'll bring the grates off mine to lay over the existing ones, and I've got plenty of charcoal I'm not using any more since I started using my gas grill more often.

Fresh tomatoes on the other hand, will be a lovely addition.

Skid, I can also bring a cutting board/knives as that goes with the other items I'm bringing.

I'm guessing that folks really would prefer a somewhat clean surface for fixings to be prepared on, but after all it is a picnic so what's a little dirt?

I will have to see if our camcorder still works. It is a small tape type, but anything can be converted to comp format.
