TaurusToter - you have been added to the list.
Anyone around westbend/jackson willing to show me the ropes?
Either leave the coat open in the front & tuck it behind the holster/grip toward your back, which leaves a lot of open area for snow & wind to get in the front,weston502 said:I was hoping someone could help show me how you open carry if you are wearing a jacket.
i open carried for the first time yesterday (nervous as heck) and found this a problem as well but i just tucked my jacket between my belt and pants behind the holster so the gun was visible
Nervousness goes away. Soon you won't care what people think about you.i open carried for the first time yesterday (nervous as heck) and found this a problem as well but i just tucked my jacket between my belt and pants behind the holster so the gun was visible
Buy a blaze orange belt long enough to fit around the outside of your coat. Your weapon will be quite visible.

This is just stupid.
That would be your uninformed opinion. That is exactly what we do up here on the mountain in B county.
