Howdy, I'll be spending the winter months in Santa Barbara.
Does anyone OC in that county.
Maybe even Ventura county or Santa Maria county.

I apologize, but you may be a little late to get in the game. The California legislature in all of its combined wisdom and reasonableness has voted to ban unloaded open carry for the safety of the public. If the Governor signs the bill, you will only be able to open carry here until December 31, 2011. After that you will be a misdemeanant, subject to jail and fine.
