ST. PAUL (AP) - A reward up to $5,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for a December drive-by shooting in Red Lake.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is offering the reward.
The ATF says the shooting was at the residence of a Red Lake Nation police officer.
The special agent in charge of the ATF St. Paul field division is Bernard J. Zapor.
He says an attack against a law enforcement officer is an attack against the nation and the freedom that those officers protect.
Zapor says drive-by shootings are serious crimes.
There were no injuries in this incident.
Anyone with information is asked to contact investigators at (800) ATF-GUNS or (800) 283-4867.
