Guys,
I'm just heaving in my usual reminder.
Facts are neither nutty or sane. Even nuts can possess facts. Its not the facts that make them nutty, its how they evaluate those facts.
For example, Bilderburg gets lots seemingly nutty commentary about world domination conspiracy and so forth.
But, the fact of the matter is that Bilderburg does meet. And, its not as a social gathering, neither. They don't hold these things as a pool party in Monaco or the French Riviera. Its a three-day get together of meetings where attendees break up into groups. This ain't a social gathering.
While a concerted, deliberate, express conspiracy towards world domination as presented by the nuts is unlikely, lets look at it more down to earth.
It seems entirely plausible for a group of the richest and most influential to get together and work out some level of coordination of activity. One need not even have a formal ratification of a "Plan". All one needs is for each individual to have a general understanding of what the others want to do, and act himself in that general direction, or even act not contrary to the general direction of the others. You end up with the same effect as an express, agreed-upon conspiracy.
I once asked a guy with lots of experience in sneaky things (intelligence) whether he had any information on the persistent reports that Bill Buckley and National Review were a CIA front steering conservative opinion so it would align with government intentions. He replied, "Does it matter?"* His point being that whether Buckley was acting for the CIA or not, you got the same result. A conspiracy between Buckley and CIA was immaterial, you got the same result either way. Moreover, and to the point, Buckley's writings were just as susceptible to careful evaluation (critical thinking), regardless of whether he actively coordinated with CIA.
It would be beyond stupid to think these Bilderbergers are working in the direction of giving up/reducing their influence, power, wealth, or negotiating position.
And, history has too many JP Morgans and Cecil Rhodeses who also did good things to burnish their image (or confuse people) while raping others economically and increasing their control.
If Barry Hussein can try to run things on $300K a year, there is no reason to think people who've aggregated zillions can't or wouldn't be trying something similar. Those richies didn't get that way by not controlling things in their favor, and being effective at it.
So, my point is, don't throw away the facts because they're presented by a nut. Make your own evaluation.
*Technically, his reply was a dodge. And, it came very fast. Leading me to conclude that he knew about those persistent reports.
