If hlh started the thread and his account has been removed from the forum, then possibly every thread he started has been deleted. I can't see any of the past dinner threads in the events section and he was the one who started those

Welcome back! Hopefully my wife and I can attend another dinner with you and yours some time in the near future. We have moved to Surry County (where I open carry all over the place,
) so we don't get up to the greater Richmond area much anymore. We miss our talks about fish tanks and cichlids.

I hope the missing data can be restored. The old thread was one of the most enjoyable threads on the forum. Was the forum hacked? Were more people 'disappeared' than just Gutshot and Lee?

In the spirit of renewal....
Got complimented at Wegman's, Short Pump for open carrying a week or so ago. No one has said anything there if they noticed at all. Ran into Jim Reynolds, there, a month or two ago. As of then he was still breathing.

Forum was not hacked, but had a major server fault which now has been corrected.
Gutshot, hlh (Lee) and the Richmond thread were the only things to fall victim.
If ever recovered, they will be merged.
Haven't seen Jim in some time - miss him.
DoubleTap was in the War Store today - Jim (Proshooter) is well known there.

I remember you talking about moving. I bet is was difficult moving all those tanks. I still have my cichlids, that keep reproducing. I've gone to all peacocks to have some peace in the tank.
Hope to get out this holiday weekend with the wife and OC a bunch.

Lately, while OCing out and about on errands, I've taken to wearing my big orange favorite T. It seems each time I do, I'm complimented on it. It gets noticed more than my Springfield.

Doubletap and I ate at Golden Corral today on Providence Rd. We got a suprise discount too.
Must have been 30 army reserves who did a double take upon seeing my purdy 1911, but then all smiles. Also had nice conversation with an employee about guns as we left.
Now if they had crushed candy cane topping for the ice cream, it would have been perfect.

I appreciate the finer things in life. Pineapple sherbert yes, pineapple ice cream no. Candy cane ice cream is a Christmas delight which should be served year round.

I will not eat pineapple ice cream. I mean crushed pineapple to smother ice cream in, that is covered in caramel, well smeared with Hersheys chocolate syrup (gotta be hersheys) and piled high with peanuts.
And the flavor of ice cream don't really matter much. Its all good. Except bubble gum. That is just nasty stuff.

I eat regularly at Golden Corral on Providence Road - I like the variety/selection of food..
They are exceptionally positive about OC and RKBA - of course I am known to tip very well.
They do show special consideration. Have had many positve discussions there - no negative ones at all.
Also good response at Nick's Roman Terrace and Hickory Notch Grill.
Actually I can't remember the last time I had a negative encounter eating out and I am all over central Virginia.
