• We are now running on a new, and hopefully much-improved, server. In addition we are also on new forum software. Any move entails a lot of technical details and I suspect we will encounter a few issues as the new server goes live. Please be patient with us. It will be worth it! :) Please help by posting all issues here.
  • The forum will be down for about an hour this weekend for maintenance. I apologize for the inconvenience.

On this date the greatest firearms genius yet to walk the earth was born. He made his first gun in his father’s shop at age 13. His work spanned 58 years. Many of his designs are still in use and manufacture today with little or no refinement or change. He made lever-action rifles, semi-automatic pistols, semi-automatic shotguns, automatic rifles and heavy machine guns and many of those are known by his name: Browning!

John Moses Browning, Peace Be Upon Him
Chances are good some portion of the design of any firearm you own was influenced by his work. We celebrate his birthday today.
