Some who are not on Face Book have asked when the next meet up dinner is. Open carry face book meet up dinner originally scheduled for Saturday after Thanksgiving has been rescheduled for Dec 12 Sat. 6PM Town Center Lounge ll 2992 W Cheyenne Ave, North Las Vegas, Nevada 89032 All like minded gun owners welcome. Kids welcome. We usually end up with 10 to 20 ocers.

I have just been informed that the original location for this meetup tomorrow has been changed! A corporate entity has decided to rent the entire restaurant for their christmas gaieties.
SO, the location has been changed to Fuddruckers (the info is listed below).
BE ADVISED!! ALL THOSE WHO ARE ATTENDING SUNDAY'S COUNTER MDA PROTEST ARE TO COME TO THIS MEETING FOR FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS!
In addition, ALL participants are to Open Carry their pistols ONLY. Remember, that we MUST win the hearts and minds of the public. You are an ambassador for the 2nd amendment!

So, does the organizer realize that more than EIGHTY people are attending the counter march, which means the organizer will have to find seating for EIGHTY people at the restaurant???

What if you can't make the Saturday meet-up? What "instructions" are so vitally important that would preclude you from attending the march???

OrIginally I was just passing meet up information for those that are not on FB who was as asking for it. The instructions meeting was new to me. Should have been separate and part of the original counter protest post. Your question should go to the Las Vegas 2nd Amendment FB page who is organizing it I'm not a member.

I had planned on attending the protest downtown Sunday at 3:45pm, I guess I'm not allowed to now, because I am unable to attend the MANDATORY Pre-counter protest meeting to receive further instructions. I'm not a Facebook member, don't have any plans on becoming one and I only login here when I post.
I guess having to jump through the organizers hoops is more important than a large attendance.

I can handle it. I work part time several years plain clothes enforcing property rules for large events. No ticket scalping on property. Very small print on the back informing those that read it not allowed. Doesn't happen very often however when one confiscates $1000 worth of tickets off a person they often spend several minutes telling one very loudly using very short words what they think of that person.

Talk about much about nothing. I believe there were no more than twenty that attended the dinner. The food was good. The waitress went beyond the call of duty. Got a few pointers on the counter protest. Vern and I believe others brought in sign supplies. For a small group we made some good progress. Visiting was good with as usual some good laughs.

Do not know what the count was however our group was over twice the size as theirs. There was a bunch of signs thanks to sign makers at the dinner. Other homemade ones showed up. The MDA march group was kind of weak. They spent maybe an hour in a court yard assuming listing to speeches. We stood across the street. A single camera man from Channel three is the only media. The MDA started waking we stayed with them across the street. We had a few pro gun vehicles drive by giving us thumbs up honk or shout. The MDA walked up to Freemont Street around the container park down an alley and back to where they started. To me their march was kind of a waste of time. The distance on Freemont Street was only about 200 feet. Their attempt to bring attention to their cause I believe was a big flop. I say our counter protest kicked their protesting ass.
