Can you use the big 100+ round drums with the pistol?
Now that bulge will get you noticed.

But I would think you will need an entire camera crew to get out of the
DC charges you might get hauled in on.

I have no problem with it, but you better be able to defend it from not only
the BG, but the leo, and us plain drooling good guys as well.

Would love to see if you ever get asked if you are SWAT by anyone?

DC charges? Disorder Conduct? You can't (legally) be arrested in my state for open carrying unless you are prohibited person.

prohibited person:
i.e. Any person with a gun who isn't an leo.

Look it up on your favorite BHO website...:cuss::cuss::cuss:

But you didn't say if the drums would work.
Now if we can just get the Russians to make an AK pistol.

I know you probably mean a 7.62x39mm and taking ak mags, but the kel-tec plr-16 is an ak action pistol in 223 chambering accepting ar mags.
also, though rare and expensive, you can get ak pistols :celebrate

i've never shot an ak before but having shot an m4 and knowing how much more powerful the 7.62 soviet round is i imagine such a pistol, though exceptionally fun and definitely a great way to dispatch bad guys, would be to cumbersome and inaccurate(inaccuracy do to muzzle climb and recoil recovery time)

When you advise the Chief of the date/time/location of the picnic, I would suggest you invite the Chief, his staff and officers to come and enjoy some hot dogs with your group.
What a great way to insure an open dialogue with the local police and foster mutual respect.
