As someone who lives next door to this Whole Foods and chooses to shop at Rouse's on Tchoup instead, I just wanted to say thank you for posting this video. You've done a good thing. Hope this cop pays.
Thanks for choosing another option. I OC in Rouse's on the North Shore on a weekly basis. Never an issue and their prices are competitive. As someone who lives next door to this Whole Foods and chooses to shop at Rouse's on Tchoup instead, I just wanted to say thank you for posting this video. You've done a good thing. Hope this cop pays.
This thread is the reason I have joined this wonderful forum. I hope to learn much how to fight for our rights. I, myself had a sideways incident w/ two officers in the Qtr during Mardi Gras....
Any updates on this????
Ya know, I can't think of it off hand. Maybe it came up w/ a google search of the court case I was looking up about being arrested while open carrying, because "part" of the sidearm was in a holster...:banghead:How did you hear of this incident?
OK. I was thinking court date or something. I don't believe I read that up there. The only update I have is that New Orleans laywer Owen Courreges has taken the case and is going to make things right. It will be some time (Months maybe) before we see a conclusion to this and nobody is going to publicly post anything else which may affect their case in court until it's over.
this cracked me up. Officer bowzo must be unhappy with you all if he is so paranoid that he comes here to "investigate". Must be sad to know you may lose your job.I laugh at everyone who's jumping all over the Officer for doing his job. It's usually better to be part of the solution than part of the problem.
Welcome to OCDO GolfMN.
Since when has an OCer ever "gotten the drop" on a LEO? /facepalmSGT. BOWSER: What, you wanna know why I did it? Twenty-five years as a police officer. I’m not gonna give you the drop on me. You understand that? That’s why Idid it. You have a problem with that? I’m not even gonna apologize. That’s why I did what I did. [PAUSES AND POINTS AT MR. MONACO]. You’re lucky that’s all I did.
I call BS! Criminals don't OC.Let me finish. You’re gonna tell me it’s your right to have a gun, I’ve heardthe arguments before. I never said I didn’t understand that. Louisiana is an open carry state, but the City of New Orleans, private property can dictatewho can carry and cannot carry weapons. I’m the only one that can carry agun on this property, and a) I’m working here; and, b) I’m commissioned. That’s it. You’re not the first person that’s come in here with a gun strapped to his side and they walk up to me and say: “Hey, a guy’s strappin.’” I come to find out he’s probation or parole, whatever the case may be. They didn’t put their badge on their belt. I did the same thing to ‘em.
I absolutely agree! This should be a slam dunk in court.
Oh, sure some do. For example,SNIP I call BS! Criminals don't OC.
TouchéOh, sure some do. For example,
The criminals who arrested that 2A-supporting citizen and detained his co-diners at that family restaurant in PA a few years ago.
The criminals who arrested Ted Syzmecki and left his wife and kids stranded in the middle of a city in VA a few years ago.
The criminals who seized the 2A-supporting diners at Tony's restaurant in VA several years ago.
The criminals who...
Lots of criminals OC.
PS: I know that's not what you meant; I'm not trying to contradict you. Just using it as an opportunity to highlight the criminality of a certain segment of [STRIKE]society[/STRIKE]* government.
*Scratched that because I realized I was demeaning society by including those particular criminals as members.
