Are "No Weapons" signs legal for a public event on BLM controlled land (Empire Ranch)? Can anyone reference a statute or precedence? What's the process for fighting this crap?

"Public lands administered by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) are available for a variety of undeveloped recreational activities, including target shooting except where prohibited by federal, state, and local laws.

My guess is the law that would apply would be ARS 13-3102, specifically the part about a sponsor of a public event asking you to either disarm or leave.

13-3102. Misconduct involving weapons; defenses; classification; definitions

A. A person commits misconduct involving weapons by knowingly:
