OC In Minnesota

Hi Everyone. I work in Minneapolis but live in Western WI. I have applied for a Utah permit so I can carry there. On laborday weekend I OCed in my hometown of Ellsworth and in my mom's hometown of Prescott.

What are the OC laws of MN? I remember reading that leos banged up a guy whose pistol grip was poking out of his pocket. he should have secured it in a holster. Also I shop in Redwing Walmart, but have heard that leos there believe that only they are the ones to carry, not the citizens.

Any input on OC and cops in MN??:question:

I havent had any problems yet. Just make sure you dont put your hand on the gun and all will be good! I open carry every day here from Golden Valley to blaine between work and home. I walk downtown minneapolis a lot and only have had smiles from the LEO's just make sure you dont look like a hood rat lol

There are no "Open Carry" laws in MN.

Anywhere you can carry concealed, you can carry open.

Great. Thanks. But I must look up the GFZs. I suppose they are about the same as for us in WI. Not GFSZs but GFZs.
