On another note, how can Tony Cornish carry every day as a paid legislator while I as a state employee in a building in the area cannot??

Thanks. Been a crazy week. Jim is not a gun friendly Guy. He was trying to trap me ... I didn't bite.

RE: Cornish, 2 reasons he can carry.

1. He's a cop. (Chief Actually)
2. His conditions of employment are set by law, his boss is his constituents. State departments are allowed to set employment policies for their direct employees, but Cornish is not an employee of a department.

Thanks for the clarification, Rob.

I know he's a former DNR officer, but wasn't aware he's a Chief as well. I know there are several other of out Legislators that have permits, but not sure who else, if any, carries in the Capitol complex on a regular basis.
