Feel free to contact me directly at treasurer@AzCDL.org.

The firearms bills we are tracking can be found at our Bill Tracking page. The system we subscribe to automatically updates the status of all bills every night. You will also find summaries and our comments on these bills.

To be kept up to date on legislation this session, I recommend you subscribe to our Legislative Alerts.

As far as what bills have the best chance, that's anyone's guess. With a slight pro-rights majority in the Legislature, the odds of bad bills progressing is slim. However, with the push to add "Mental Health" as part of NICS checks being framed as a law enforcement issue, pro-rights legislators have allowed themselves to be suckered into that mythology.

If you look at a pending bill, and only see one sponsor, odds are slim that it will go anywhere.

To see how the legislative process works in Arizona, please see Page 2 of our November 2013 newsletter.

Hope this helps?
Fred
