A picnic to celebrate the city's realization that their "no carry in parks" ordinance is unenforceable.
(If they'd kept on in their misunderstanding, this would have been a demonstration, but now it's not.)
We have the pavilion from 10a - 8p, but things may not go that late.
Meat & drink will be provided.
Open carry of properly holstered pistols is encouraged, but not required.
Family-friendly.
Bring service for yourself, a dish to share, maybe a folding chair, and if you have a favorite picnic-appropriate game to share bring that along too.
PLEASE REGISTER HERE: https://www.facebook.com/events/245916645612116
Address & where to find us in the park are provided there.
We will use the numbers from that to buy food, so there will be enough for everyone.
Also, the pinned post on that page is a list of who's bringing what, so things get covered but not duplicated.
