Hello all,

I have a question about the legality of buying a red dot online, i belive there are states with restrictions and such items can't be shipped to a normal human beings address.. Is there such a "thing" here in the best state for gun owners in the good old USA!? I know this is an open carry forum so I'll mention my day. Mexican carried my Hk vp9 with a 19 round mag all day long.. Visited marshall's with the wife, autozone, oreily, fry's, chase.. No problem, nobody panicked some people noticed some didn't.. It has becomed part of me.. Of, Who i am.

Thank you!

No issues buying a red dot sight through the Internet or any other means.

All the Mexicans I know carry in holsters, but I'm led to believe that the term "Mexican carry" means shoved in your waistband without a holster. You do this as a matter of preference, even with a pistol that has no manual safety lever? It's your prerogative, but not something I'd recommend, of course.

Oh no.. When i say Mexican carry "i" mean what people are now calling "appendix carry" i have holsters, kydex, cowhide, horse hide, blackhawk, nylon. I never carry without a holster, specially mexican carry.. Considering my pennis "could" (literally) activate the trigger. LoL.

Thank you!

You are correct and i was wrong..

Massad Ayoob says:
The [Mexican Carry] term is not perjorative. It arose long ago among gun people. In homage to proud Mexican men of the 19th and early 20th centuries. Beset by trants who stripped them of liberties, including the right to carry guns if they were not part of the political elite, these defiant citizens.... needed to be able to ditch the gun to be retrieved later if they were about to have contact with Federales, and since a holster could not be so quickly ditched and would be prima facie evidence of resistance to tyrants' law, the holster was dispensed with.
- The Gun Digest Book of Concealed Carry.

I take it back, I wasn't mexican carrying i was appendix carrying. i am a proud Mexican though.
