Starbucks Appreciation day

I came across this and thought I would pass it on. I have never been to a Starbucks but I will slip in the drive through and pay with $2 bills on friday.

Moms Demand Action, is putting pressure on Starbucks over their corporate policy on guns. Gun owners are encouraged to spend money with Starbucks on August 9, 2013 to show your support and offset any boycotts.

I don't "boycott" them, though I don't go there either - their coffee tastes burnt to me, and it is a bit on the expensive side for my wallet.

Yeah, me too .. I got better things to do with $600 bucks than buy a cup of coffee ... I'd rather spend it on a gun build...

True... I'm opposed to some of their supposed policies and/or business practices, and would rather not go there until I can sort it all out in my head, but as far as I know none of them are related to the right to keep and bear arms so I don't think it's relevant to try and list them out here. I won't be participating in an appreciation day for them, though... Nobody is perfect, and no business is perfect, so I won't go so far as to say that you shouldn't appreciate a business for having a good policy at any time that they also have a less-than-desirable policy, but for me personally I'll pass on appreciating Starbucks for now. Their iced mocha stuff does taste good, though, I'll give them that. So it's not really a boycott, just me not going there until I find the time to try to dig up the truth on a few issues.
