Browning designed many parts of the 1911 pistol to be used as tools in its own disassembly and assembly.

An interesting read. I always use the base of my Wilson 47D's as a "bushing wrench" when fieldstripping my 5" Kimber. It helps push thespring cap down as I rotate the bushing w/myfingers. Works great!
