Hahaha my ugly mug!

I had resolved not to used the polite society line.......and I used it......

They were polite and it seems like they were trying to get both sides of the story.....

It was actually interesting and I can see why these guys are professionals on how they word their questions.

islam and guns.....whats the difference?

I saw a comment somewhere that gives a good argument.
If I am supposed to be tolerant of islam because only a very few are violent terrorists and I should not demonize an entire religion because of them, why not use this argument for 2A?

Why is this not applicable to the weapon conversation. You all know only a very few people with weapons have made life very difficult for the rest of us. This could be a good tool to use when talking to antis.
During the "march" Boomboy and I carried an eight foot banner that said "A Right not Exercised is a Right Lost". People were very happy to walk just behind it. One of them asked what it meant. I explained that "If you don't exercise the first amendment regularly, someone may attempt to take it away from you." She agreed, and then saw my weapon. That is when I added, " we feel the same about ALL the Bill of Rights, to include the second". She smiled nervously and walked on.

Lets look at switchblade knifes.
They are %100 banned in the USA.
So they can say being stabbed by that knife is down dramatically. Not %100 but its down.
They also don't mention people are still stabbed by other knifes.
They pick and choose what to tell the public to justify their cause.
You can carry a pistol but not a switchblade. LOL....

There is multiple stories where law abiding citizens have killed the bad guy in home and public.
The story 'if its printed' gets buried deep in the paper. Gotta hide the good stuff and highlight the bad.
Good news page A12 in fine print, bad news page 1 in bold print.

Wyoming has the right idea.

I sent email to Kendell Kroeker thanking him for pushing this and asked if he could take time to talk to our state reps to join him.

Also get your online bulk ammo in case they want to put the screws to that as well.
Many places are no tax and free shipping for bulk ammo.

All of you are awesome.

Remember I encouraged you not to fight or argue, we were there to protect all rights including theirs.

You were doing a good job since you were not carrying and had your camera, interviewing people, and I simply suggested you also interview the young ones that happened to be next to us too, and if you were uncomfortable you could blank out the faces and just keep the audio. Many times I find the truth comes out of the mouths of children. Interrogate is a poor choice of words.

Was good to meet everybody, we were all on our best behavior, a crowd of unruly kids, not associated with us, were making a bit of a scene and making fun of the Anti's, I would hoped they would see that they were just standing on their usual downtown corner.

The interrogate comment was half tongue in cheek.

Otherwise I think it went well. I personally never saw the other rude group. Several rude antis and one who baited me that I should've ignored (the guy claiming to be a veteran who Freedom1man got into an argument with) but most people were civil and that was good.

Still many people are protective of the little munchkins, I would hate to see what some anti would go shrieking to the police if they say someone sticking a camera in little Sally's face... That could make for an uncomfortable time..... Especially if you get the type of cop who will stretch to charge you with whatever might stick...for that reason I try not to talk to littleuns in public, other then maybe a quick "thank you" or "good morning" when the situation calls for it

Was humorous to see the bubble that developed around you.
Like Boomboy was saying it was also humorous for people to assume you were with them and pile up and march behind you until they realized what was really going on.

Eric you are a good guy and your hearts in the right place. After meeting you, and don't take this the wrong way, I can understand why you might not want to talk to other's liluns, keep up the good efforts and soon you will learn how to be a little more "seasoned" in your approach.:) Observe, observe, observe.
