Hello Mississippi,
I open carry in Vicksburg; mainly in Walmart, Home Depot, McCoy's, Tractor Supply, gas stations, government buildings, farmer's market, and various restaurants. Who else in Mississippi is doing that? Where do you carry and what have you experienced? Lately, things have been going well with my carry. We have made progress in the last 10 years. Back then I was denied access to a number of places. With the current anti-gun push I fear that if we do not make ourselves seen we will be forced to hide.

Welcome to OCDO, Mr/Ms HLB !

Although OCDO is the premier forum for discussing matters in depth, you may also want to look on Fascistbook for social outreach/contacts.

Tried that. Facebook group of 60 plus people, over 20 at one meeting. They eventually faded away. They did not want to address the hard issues of local or state law and authoritative disobedience. Same thing happened to Open Carry of El Paso. Seems to be the norm.

Alas, not being interested in joining or participating in the FB nonsense whatsoever would have lost my attendence!

While not clear on your timeline of your FB mtgs, of course attendees faded away ~ it is human nature since there is no motivation nor reward for attending!

What was the purpose...”get in the face of politicos” “PO the police cuz we can” “make an in your face video for FB”

Where you the “leader” or were you looking for a leader to take up the cause?

Was there an agenda to aim for, from your gatherings, e.g., hey we need to meet for open carry gathering at xyz cuz of this issue?

And how bout LGs

As advocated numerous times...do research LGBT advocates developed the national/state/community campaigns to successfully get their agenda ingrained into the world’s culture.

Considering that the LGBT q-munnity is supported by the liberal media...including liberal social media...their efforts were encouraged, backed and rewarded...ours? Unlikely...like never likely.
