Open Carry was established in the US in 1776.
It was officially codified into US law on
June 21, 1788, when the US Constitution was ratified.
It was only that some states decided at later dates (like IL, MD, NJ, NY, etc) that they had the right (which they do not) to violate the US Constitution and enact illegal, immoral, and in EVERY CASE, racist laws to prevent the lawful carry of defensive firearms by law-abiding citizens...
The re-establishment of the Fundamental Human Right to self-defense on a nation-wide level will be a longer and harder battle than the Civil Rights movement was, because the very people who are hurt most by this egregious violation of civil rights (restrictions on lawful OC) are the ones who have been most effectively brainwashed to see this Fundamental Human Right as something that is harmful and wrong.
But we are working on that...
Education, personal responsibility, and love of family and community are our watchwords...
"Upon the altar of God I pledge eternal hostility against every form of tyranny over the mind of man."
