Back to Safeway for Groceries.......If you'll notice at the bank or Starbucks no one cares or gives it much thought and thats the way it should be in every free nation. As someone said without guns we are subjects ,with guns we are citizens. Are you folks citizens anymore??

All I can say people I will defend to the death my right to have a day like today. No one bothers me or anyone else carrying.Do what ever it takes to get your rights back.Where are the Brits I remember that held off the Germans all by themselves for 2 years.......Took bombs day after day and never quit. Fight back guys and we in the states have to do what ever it takes not to let these kind of people take our rights.

David,is there anyone besides yourself that has a desire to gain back your right to bear arms and to self defense? Have any of your friends looked at this site? What do they think?

OK, you've overwhelmed me with information.

Yes, there are others who feel the same way.

The chaps at this website http://www.armbritain.com/are particularly interested in the RKBA. It's a tiny community, though. From what I have seen, thoseBrits who do still have guns, prefer to keep their heads down...perhaps from the justified fear of losing what little they still have.

But, many more people approach the problem from the more fundamental viewpoint, that of liberty. And of protection from tyranny...a topic that is increasingly on our agenda.

So, there are minor political parties who advocate the RKBA.

The big, big, problem is the media. The media knows what is best for us and it's so difficult to air your views in the mainstream. And, you must know how much effort is required to get people to actually DO anything.

One large demo would force the media to take interest...if only to seize the opportunity to tag on the label "gun nuts". I think that it's really important todeny the MSM that opportunity; so the liberty/oppression issues are the ones on which I would prefer to focus; rather than the more pure RKBA.

You are right about the labeling. Those that wish to take our rights use the term gun nuts as well..So far we have managed to keep our rights but they are certainly trying to take them.

It is not just about guns.Once a people are disarmed then they can control. From what I have seen and heard also from other Brits is they the Gov.are absolutely in control. It appears from the blogs and fronm what you have told me they used the mainstream media for just that purpose.

I mat a British Business man here at a resturant about a year ago From the Nothern part of London believe he said.He was beyond amazed that there were some of us wearing firearms in a nice resturant and no one was concerned. No one ran away screaming in terror ,no cops were called. So he started a coversation and I explained to him how things were here.

He eventtually stopped by my place so I could let him actually hold these pistols etc.Quite a learning experience although I did have a heavy American accent.

Anyway check out the Washington board and a thread I started "Its been a great Year" you'll see how we do things here. It sounds like they have even quashed your freedom of speech there as far as the subject is concerned.

BY the way it's going on 2 am sunday morning here in Seattle what the hck time is it there. Is there not about an 8 or so hour difference?

The point of our founders giving us the second ammendment iswasn't about personal protection or hunting etc.it was about defending against such tyranny.Ben Franklin said ..

"Those who would give up Essential Liberty
to purchase a little Temporary Safety,
deserve neither Liberty nor Safety"-Benjamin Franklin

The Highschool and middle school here in the county have a competition trap shooting team, that competes with other schools.

I suspect that would shock some Brits.

I grew up actually in Texas,my father worked for NASA in the 60's .My first high school there also had a shooting team and a skeet team.It was nothing to bring your .22 to school for practice ,or your shotgun.

Some Americans seem to think we have no guns in the UK.

I only have 4 on licence at the moment, they suit the target shooting I do.

22 bolt action

22 semi-auto

.357 underlever with 14" barrel

.44 muzzle loaded revolver

I have a dozen airguns as well and silencers to fit them.

We can have most stuff even .50 cal bolt action

Limited to .22 for semi auto and of course no pistols since 1997, but we do have some which fit within 12" barrel 24" overall or any muzzle loaders.

I am a range officer at my club and my specality is training the juniors, we have them from 7 years old. This years champ is shooting 100/100 1/2" groups at 25 meters.

Here in Wa.State you don't have to have a license for anything .The only permit required is if you conceal. To open carry its not required.I can buy anything without license.Thats the whole point we are trying to hang on to.As you can see by the above pics we can still carry what ever we want for our personal protection.Or buy pretty much anything that the Army or the police use without license, and as many as you wish to pay for.For that matter I can buy anything that any other army uses as well. When you get to a point where the population has no arms then it becomes a totalitarian state . Heck California is headed that way.People are moving out of there in droves ,back to America they say. They Arnold Shwarzenegger as their Governer and has been intrumental in turning it into a totally socialist regime. They are so broke they were issuing iou's to state employees. It is an excellent example of european Socialism and it is destructive beyond measure.I know as well I used to live there. Peoples Republic of Kalifornia we call it now.

this is a popular poster these days...
