I hope it goes through speedily.

After studying more of the SC's cases I predict they will not accept the case or rule against Norman. Our right is the privilege to carry concealed, and the truth is no defense. Further, because of the Florida senate, I predict no licensed OC will get through in the next decade, but probably ever. While this is disappointing, given the makeup of the Florida population, we should be grateful for what we have, even if concealed carry isn't very useful. Everyone should join NRA and Fl carry to ward off the inevitable attempts at gun bans that will come with the continued influx of northerners and foreigners. Good night and good luck!

If one assumes that Norman is going to lose then we want to delay a decision until Peruta v. San Diego is ready for cert. This is why Norman's attorney filed an appeal with the Florida Supreme Court instead of filing a cert petition with SCOTUS.

Besides, there is always a chance he might win on appeal without having to file a cert petition with SCOTUS.
