Louisiana Open Carry Awareness League (LOCAL) has scheduled the following meetings for May 2014.

The Lake Charles area monthly LOCAL meeting will be held again at the Taco Bell in Moss Bluff, La. at 5:30pm Monday, May 5, 2014.

The Northwest area LOCAL is meeting Wednesday, May 7 at Southfield Grill, 1810 Benton Rd, Bossier at 6:30 pm.

The Lafayette area LOCAL will meet Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at 202 E. Angus Dr. in Youngsville, LA.

The Capital (Baton Rouge) area LOCAL meet will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at 6:30pm at the IHOP on College Drive in Baton Rouge.

Florida Parishes Chapter Special AR Build Meeting: Saturday, May 17th. At 630pm at Alpine Watches & Knifes, 2033 N Highway 190 Ste 16, Covington LA 70433 for a build session then over to IHOP for Supper around 8pm. The Southeast area of LOCAL will have an evening of shooting and socializing at the Saint Bernard Indoor Shooting Center (SBISC) on Thursday, May 29, 2014 from 5:30pm until 8pm. For more info see the thread on our forums here: http://laopencarry.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=93

Yep, The sixteenth was in April. I changed the original post. Thanks again for catching that.

Correction- the Baton Rouge meeting is set for Wed, May 21, 2014.
Sorry for any confusion.

Florida Parishes MAY 17th Meeting update

The build session that the Florida Parishes Chapter had planned for the May 17th meeting has been canceled due to an illness. The meeting will take place at its regular meeting place, THE IHOP at its regular time. 6;30pm.

Meeting Reminder-
Florida Parishes Chapter of LOCAL will meet on Saturday, May 17 at the IHOP in Covington, La at 6:30 pm. The IHOP is just off La 190 North of I-12. The AR build session which had been planned for this month has been cancelled.

Range fee for LOCAL members attending this event will be $10 per person/shooter. Let's get together and shoot some targets and shoot the breeze.
