This is what happens when we let too many Californians with their anti-2A views in. We all knew it would happen eventually - we'd become a suburb of CA. :uhoh:
This Californian is trying to get out lol! I pop in here once in awhile whenever I'm visiting.
We're staying at bally's, carried everywhere no problem. Walked strip to nacho daddy for food, no problem.
Zero reactions from people, but you always see the eyes when they look down. Headed to hash house a go go for breakfast. The off-strip restaurant location.
Just spotted an OC'er at Sushi Rose in Reno, didn't have a chance to say anything. Anyone here?
Went out For a visit to my local mall with my wife and 2 year old daughter was OC a .45 Ruger spent an overall good visit until the end. Made sure to check for any signs that regulated OC or firearms before entering there was nothing posted so I continued shopping passed by a couple of security guards and even used the urnial next to one with out any question of my OC. Final after being there acouple of hours as I was walking to the escalators with my daugther in my hands. I was approached by a security guard confronting me on OC telling me no weapons were allowed on mall premsis and I had to leave immediately. As I was already leaving I thought nothing of it until he than proceeded to Harras me and my family over the radio followed by an escort. That got me a little upset being as I had done nothing wrong and was being escorted out of the mall with my family as a shop lifter would. What should I have done ? Any stories like this before at the galleria ?
Cracker Barrel has had a long standing corporate policy against guns - been dicussed here at length.A few weeks ago, I OC at Kohl’s on Blue Diamond, then off to Brass Pro and Fry’s never an issue. Then we went to Cracker Barrel our first trip in this one. No issue, one of the employees with a tie dress shirt came up to us on my strong side and said how is everything? Pleasant short conversation, standing maybe two feet away from my very obvious full size 40XDM and never said a word about it. I have OCed in Cracker Barrels in AZ and Utah and never an issue.

Last night sitting waiting for our in n out food and had two young ladies sitting next to me. Dressed nicely one gets up the other says where are you going she told her friend I want to set next to that guy, me. She started asking about carrying a gun and what is needed.
I gave her the quick rundown for open carry and CCW. When I told her about open carry she like most was surprised to hear one only needed to of age and not a criminal. She asked about training and does she need a gun for the training I suggested checking the indoor ranges for training and renting a firearm to start with.
I often am approached on the issue do not post all of them. I guess it is my charm. The cool part, at least in my mind was they were black ladies younger and had no problem sitting next to an old white man with a gun and asking.
I found that I get more positives then negatives.
It's been awhile....
So, can folks update me on:
* Park open carry - still legal?
* Cop shop open carry - anyone try it?
* Library open carry - did they outlaw it?
Anything change in the oc laws in the past year? I've been around, but oc has been so uneventful that I've not stayed up on it.
Thanks!
