State v Alloy should be removed from the list. It has not risen to the level of case law. It is an unpublished opinion of the III District Court of Appeals and asan unpublished opinionhas no precedential value in a court of law. (ss809.23) It may be appropriate as a reference but it does not belong under the heading "case law". Stating it as case law only adds misleading confusion.

i did some searching on the laws and just wanted to confirm what i believe is considerd legal.....it is legal to carry a loaded magazine in your auto so long as it's not attached to the weapon. is this statement correct ?

Then it would be IN your auto. The magazine may be in the same case but NOT in the gun.

My fault, I've been spending way too much looking at the computer screen.

A loaded magazine may be transported in a vehicle as long as it is not in the gun and at least in this state, it may be transported in the same case.

Created a new "reference" section to the first post so Alloy had a cozy place to stay.
