I gave until it hurt, sorry man... If I stumble upon some more cash, you'll be sure to get some of it.

Does that make me a Socialist? Do I have to vote for Hillary now?

I just started another thread which I promptly deleted Ixtow. It was probably a little too much information and opinion for this site.

To answer your tongue in cheek question, no it doesn't make you a bad person, Socialist or Hillary Hugger.:uhoh:

We're all doing what we can which is especially impressive considering the current economy.
Cash donations, time or just emotional support is more than anyone can ask for. I can't speak for Skidmark but I can speak for myself and I say to never apologize for doing all you can. Be proud of it and accept our thanks!

There is so much that we want to say. Maybe some day that will happen.

Each in our own way - says it all.

I live in Lansing, have a CADL card, and was involved in that case. The appeals will set precedent in MI. Thanks for your help.

PS. More help needed. The appeals case promises to cost big $$.

Will see what I can dig up, Q. It's the economy, stupid, ya know. Obviously, Skidmark's friends want the ordeal over, and decided in his favor as soon as possible. On the other hand, any decision in this court is not binding precedent. A loss and an appeal would get ugly fast and very expensive, but would set precedent, I believe.

Will keep reading the CADL threads!

I'd like to thank everyone again, for the outpouring of support and encouragement.
It's made a tremendous difference in our ability to defend this case.
I believe I am authorized to say that Skidmark and I are both very grateful to have such friends.

Is it a violation of rules (forum or as a lawyer?) if for example, you were to post a copy of your business card as part of your signature or such. Or perhaps you could just PDF print it and make it available as email? I think that there are quite a few of us that would like to have your contact information neatly available tucked away in our wallets.

I googled him. User, I've got you in my phone as a just-in-case. You've also been helping a friend of mine who ran afould of the Prince William county mounties.

I gathered he was looking for a phone number which could be put in a cell phone contact list for quick future use if required. No (attorney) phone number, business address or anything of the sort in that link.

I suspect a PM to the attorney in question would do the trick though.

Phone number is right below his mailing address, just above VCDL logo.

Heck, I thought that was the contact info for the Virginia Legal Defense org since it was above their logo. OK, now I'll hang my head in embarrassment. :banghead:

Just a teaser..
This is from this past Thursday and the story follows a certain Ferry tale floating around.

There's no audio other than the score and these are raw clips and I made it just so the narrator could set the pace...BUT, It's something to look at.

BTW, the audio and something the Clerk termed "SUSPICIOUS" will be interesting when I release it.

Could 'VIPR' be relevant?

From Drudge, I just learned of this:

Surprise! TSA Is Searching Your Car, Subway, Ferry, Bus, AND Plane

Think you could avoid the TSA's body scanners and pat-downs by taking Amtrak? Think again.

...

But more and more, they seem to involve giving airport-style pat-downs and screenings of unsuspecting passengers at bus terminals, ferries, and even subways.

These surprise visits are part of the TSA's VIPR program: Visible Intermodal Prevention and Response. The VIPR program first started doing searches in 2007, and has grown since then. Currently, the TSA only has 25 VIPR teams doing these impromptu searches: in 2012, it wants to get 12 more.

Could a (secret?) VIPR program have been in operation when skid was arrested? When is enough enough?

I am trying to donate and just want to make sure this will go to the right place. It says that "Dale" will receive $XX.XX amount. Who is DALE?

Dale is "Grapeshot" - he's running the paypal end of the legal defense fund. The alternative is to send a check by mail to me - I don't process credit cards.
